Admission Criteria

Basis of Admission to BBA & BCA Courses

These shall be an admission test for candidates seeking admission to BBA/BCA courses. The written test will be of 2 hrs duration & it Will contain 100 multiple choice questions. The written test will contain sections on General English, Quantitative aptitude, reasoning ability and general awareness.

The Criteria Of Selection Will Be As Under

Written Test – 100 marks

Interview – 20 marks

10% of aggregate marks obtained in the matric examination & 10% of aggregate marks obtained in 10+2 examination.

Additional weightage of 10% of aggregate marks will be given to students having Commerce or Mathematics as the Subject at 10+2 level.

Basis of Admission to B.Ed. Course

The admission in the B.Ed. course will be on the basis of merit obtained in the Entrance Test conduct by H.P. University, Shimla. The Entrance Test will be an objective (MCQ) type .

The minimum qualifying marks in the Entrance Test will be 35% (i.e. 53 out of 150).

In case of SC/ST/Physically Handicapped candidates, 5 lower the minimum qualifying marks will be 30% (45 out of 150).

Admission procedure of Junior Basic Training ( JBT) Course

Junior Basic Training ( JBT) is a diploma level course with a duration of 2 years. The admission in the Junior Basic Training ( JBT) course will be on the basis of merit obtained in the Entrance Test conduct by H.P. Board of Education, Dharamshala.

There will be a total of 100 questions that must be answered with in 120 minutes. The test is carried out as a single paper having multiple choice questions.
